City officials from various municipalities are coming together to launch a new Regional Noticeboard initiative. This project aims to streamline communication about local events, services, and announcements across the region, ensuring residents stay informed.
The Regional Noticeboard will be accessible both online and in public spaces starting January 15, 2026. It will feature updates on community meetings, festivals, and available services, enhancing civic engagement and awareness among residents.
Participating local governments include those from Milltown, Riverdale, and Pleasant Valley. Each city is contributing resources and staff to maintain the platform, emphasizing a cooperative approach to community information sharing.
Previous attempts at regional communication have faced challenges, including information overload and visibility issues. This new initiative is designed to address those concerns by consolidating information into one easily navigable source, which is expected to strengthen community ties.
Residents are encouraged to visit the Regional Noticeboard website once it launches on January 15. Feedback will be welcomed to improve the service continually. For more information, residents can contact their local city hall.
